CAUSE ===== This problem occurs when the form's WindowState property is set to Maximized and the form's MaxButton property is set to False. RESOLUTION ========== To work around this problem, set the form's MaxButton property to "True" at design time. STATUS ====== Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this bug and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. MORE INFORMATION ================ Steps to Reproduce Behavior --------------------------- 1. Create a new Visual Basic project. 2. Set the MaxButton property of Form1 to "False". 3. Set the WindowState property of Form1 to "2 - Maximized". 4. Run the sample. RESULT: The Windows Taskbar is covered by the form, which completely fills the screen.
